Module 06

Risk management

We check client risk, product risk and mandate limits on every account. Every page shows the same AUM number.

What it checks

What the risk management module checks.

01
Client risk rating from the agreement

We read the client's risk rating from the signed client agreement. Nobody can type it in anywhere else.

02
Product risk rating by policy

Every product type gets its rating on one policy page. A bond counts as high yield until a named rating proves it is investment grade.

03
Mandate limits

Limits come from the agreement, plus hand-set limits when the agreement is special. Each breach names the limit and the amount.

04
Concentration and leverage

We take loans and overdrafts out of AUM. A losing accumulator lowers it.

05
Structured products

We track fixed coupon notes close to knock-out and accumulator events, one line per event, and send alerts.

06
Client flow guard

Moves between a client's own accounts do not count as new money. Any flow above 10% goes to Operations before it counts.

Null test

The AUM on the Firm page, the Account Monitor and the Risk page must match exactly for the same day.
