Module 04

Retrocession

We read each retrocession statement, match it to the bank's printed total, share it out to clients, and report it.

What it checks

What the retrocession module checks.

01
Statement read

TAC reads each bank's retrocession statement, PDF or spreadsheet, into one table.

02
Allocation

Each line goes to the right client account and relationship manager.

03
Receivables

What each bank owes, what has arrived, and what is still to come.

04
Client disclosure

Retrocession reports for clients, and rebate lines on the fee invoice when the agreement says so.

05
No double loading

The same statement cannot be loaded twice. Loading it again replaces the old one. It does not add to it.

Null test

The lines we read must match the bank's printed total. If they do not, we never share it out, and we tell a person which lines are missing.
